Wednesday afternoon excursions

On Wednesday the timetable is condensed enabling everyone to have the afternoon off to either enjoy the wonderful facilities that Bryanston School has to offer or to explore the  beautiful county of Dorset.

There are 3 coach trips that can be booked through the office:

  1. Stonehenge – Walk in the footsteps of your Neolithic ancestors at Stonehenge – one of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Explore the ancient landscape on foot and step inside the Neolithic Houses to discover the tools and objects of everyday Neolithic life. Visit the world-class exhibition and visitor centre with 250 ancient objects and come face to face with a 5,500 year-old man. The cost is £30 per adult and £20 for children.
  2. Lullworth Cove – The beautiful white pebble beach of Lulworth Cove, with its blue waters and easy access make it a popular destination. Low tide reveals wonderful rock pools teeming with sea creatures. The cost is £15 per adult and £10 for children.
  3. Swanage with a visit to the Royal National Lifeboat Institute – Situated on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, and a gateway town for exploring the Jurassic Coast. The gently sloping, golden sand and clear unpolluted water are just some of the great reasons that Swanage Beach has been awarded a Blue Flag and Seaside Award. RNLI lifeguards are situated within the bathing zone which is the ideal location for your family swim. The cost is £20 per adult and £15 for children.
